Introducing the 3M™ Abrasive Sponge is a flexible foam pad that is used for hard to reach areas. These sponges can be used in wet or dry environments when working with wood, metals, plastics and more on walls and ceilings. Combining a fine abrasive on four sides of the sponge aids the usage in corners and hard to reach areas being highly conformable.

Features and Benefits

• Flexible foam pad to sand or key edges, rims and hard-to-reach areas by hand
• Soft Sanding Sponge constructions reduces the risk of burn-through on edge/rim areas
• Helps to eliminate finger marks
• For use on Wood, Plaster, Metal, Plastic and Paint
• For Hand Sanding and Finishing
• Block dimensions 96 x 66 x 25mm

Typical Applications

Hand pads and abrasive sheets are very versatile and suitable for use in a number of applications. From rust removal to surface preparation on wooden furniture or plaster walls, abrasive pads and sheets are very common in painting applications. The 3M™ Abrasive Sponges are ideal for working profiled objects such as skirting, door frames or architrave. The 90° profile of the sponge helps when getting into the corners for example of a ceiling or wall.
