HSDL-9100 Proximity Sensor

The HSDL-9100 series from Avago Technologies are a family of proximity sensors in a surface-mounted (SMD) package. It combines an analogue-output reflective sensor with an IR emitter and photodiode. They are all housed within a compact metal package which offers excellent optical isolation, reducing cross-talk.
Suitable applications for the HSDL-9100 include; mobile phones, notebooks, industrial control, printers, home appliances and vending machines.
