Pmod RS232 UART-RS232 Converter
The Pmod RS232 converts the digital logic-voltage levels of a UART device to RS-232 voltage levels required by a PC COM port for example. The RS-232 module is configured as a Data Communications Equipment (DCE) device, it connects to Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) devices such as a PC serial COM port, using a straight-through cable.
Whats on-board?
• MAX3232 RS-232 transceiver device
• Standard DE9 female connector for RS-232 output
• Jumper links for optional RTS/CTS flow control when available
• Follows Digilent Pmod Interface Specification Type 3
• Dimensions: 25 x 33mm
