The FT220X and FT221X Full Speed USB 2.0 ICs offer a compact bridge to 4-Bit SPI / FT1248 interfaces. The devices can acknowledge USB bus data, capable of operating up to 500 kbps, with low power consumption (8 mA). The USB 2.0 serial bus to 4-Bit SPI / FT1248 Bridge enables the USB interface to be added into a system design quickly and easily.
