SMT Transient Suppressors - EZJZ Series

Panasonic EZJZ varistors are constructed from advanced semiconductive ceramics and feature excellent ESD suppression. These multilayer varistors are bipolar (having no polarity) and can replace one capacitor and two zener diodes.

Ultra low capacitance
Large electrostatic resistance to IEC61000-4-2 Level 4 standard
Lead-free terminal electrodes ensure great solderability, but flow soldering must be avoided
Two arrays for multiple lines
Multilayer structure

Applications

These varistors are suitable for high-speed signal lines and ESD suppression. Suitable applications include HDMI high-speed data busses, USB 2.0 and IEEE1394 interfaces.
