Peak Electronic Design ESR70 Resistance and Capacitance LCR Meter

Measuring a capacitor's ESR (equivalent series resistance) is a good indicator of capacitor condition. You can use the Atlas ESR in-circuit, saving you the trouble of removing capacitors. When testing capacitors out-of-circuit, the unit will also display the capacitance. The ESR70 provides instant results when the test button is pressed, a range of tones are produced in feedback of the measurement results. Also included extra-long and extra-flexible test cables (450mm of Silicone covered cable), 2mm plugs and sockets with removeable gold plated crocodile clips, comprehensive illustrated user guide and GP23 Alkaline battery.

Features and Benefits:

• Resolution down to 0.01 ohms
• Analyses at industry standard of 100kHz
• Capable of In-Circuit testing
• Polarity free, connect any way round
• ESR range 0.00 to 40 Ohms
• Protected against highly-charged capacitors
• Gold plated crocodile probes with 4-wire Kelvin connections
• ESR70 has a special audio feature to aid quick measurement
• Automatic analysis-start when you apply the probes.
• Automatic capacitor discharge using controlled discharge function.
• ESR (and low DC resistance) measurement (even in-circuit).
• Optional probe alternatives easily fitted.
