Our Siemens IOT2020 Intelligent Gateway is also known as SIMATIC IOT2020 or an IIOT which means an Industrial Internet of Things. Serving as the connection point, an Internet of Things (IOT) gateway main purpose is to provide an extra layer of security to IOT networks and the data that the networks transport. The IOT can be attached horizontally or vertically on a DIN rail, or to a wall - making it the perfect solution for both industrial and commercial environments.
