This flash memory provides non-volatile storage for embedded automotive and industrial systems, enabling code and data retention across power cycles in harsh environments. It supports multiple serial and parallel access schemes and is supplied in a compact USON surface-mount package suitable for space-constrained designs. The device is intended for applications requiring organised 8Mx8-bit memory and operates across a wide automotive temperature range.
Memory is arranged as 8M words by 8 bits permitting byte-wise access and straightforward addressing for firmware and data sectors.
It is supplied in a USON surface-mount package with an 8-pin footprint compatible with standard pick-and-place assembly.
The device uses NOR cells, which allow direct code execution from the memory array, reducing external RAM requirements.
The device meets automotive AEC-Q100 stress qualification and is RoHS-compliant for lead-free manufacture.
